Fine downy undercoat hair of cashmere goat from Tibet, Mongolia.
Its name comes from the Kashmir region, which however produces only a small percentage of cashmere.
One of reason why cashmere is extremely valuable is due to the fact that each goat produce a very small amount of duvet in spring time.
